During Enrichment centers today, we worked on graphing the most recent SRI results. I am thrilled at how my students have taken ownership of their scores! I was so proud to hear comments like "I rose 100 points!" or "Can I change my goal since I already beat it?" Music to my ears!!
My target group is doing well. Student 1 is at 381, Student 2 is at 636, Student 3 moved, Student 4 is at 348, Student 5 moved, Student 6 is at 638, and Student 7 is at 620. They are making great strides!! We will continue working on comprehension and vocabulary, as the SRI test is really packed with tricky vocabulary. I noticed that as I walked around the room last week. It seems the questions they missed were because of vocabulary meaning and not necessarily comprehension of the material.
