Today we used an RA strategy, Pair Share, during Science. They wrote about animal habitats and then paired up to discuss their writing with a partner. I was pleased with the conversations I overhead where students were probing and asking their partner to be more specific, or making connections in their own writing! It was great! I love that students feel comfortable to take risks and express their feelings in my classroom!
