Book Clubs are such an important part of Reading Comprehension! Giving students the chance to choose their own reading material based on their reading level and interest, is a powerful thing!! It was great that my target group chose two different books, so I will be able to focus them and monitor comprehension easily as they read through, discuss, and reflect upon their books.
